Frequently asked questions
By role, because a practice and a parent are usually asking different things.
Families
What does "choose your child's BT in minutes" actually mean?
It describes how quickly you can browse behavior technicians and ask for an introduction. It is not a promise about when therapy starts, which depends on the practice, insurance authorization and scheduling.
Do I need a diagnosis to browse?
No. The family journey asks about your goals, your child's interests and practical fit like schedule and ZIP code. Nothing on this website asks for your child's clinical details. When you request an introduction, the practice tells you what they need to start services.
What happens when I say Allo?
The behavior technician and their practice are told you would like an introduction. The practice follows up with you directly. Saying Allo is not a commitment and you can withdraw it.
What if nobody fits what I'm looking for?
We say so. We never pad the results. You can broaden your filters, or save your results and we will email you when someone who fits joins near you.

Do I need the RBT credential to join?
No. You can build a profile and explore opportunities while training, and the profile shows your honest status. Whether a state or payer requires the RBT credential for a specific case is in our state-by-state guides.
What does "credential verified" mean?
It means the credential listing was checked against the issuing body, such as the BACB registry. It does not mean we endorse anyone clinically or guarantee employment.
Who employs me?
A practice does. MeetAllo introduces people; it is not an employer and does not supervise services.

How do introductions reach my practice?
When a family or BT says Allo, you get an introduction request with what each side chose to share. You decide whom to interview and hire. You keep responsibility for credentialing, supervision, authorization and billing.
What does MeetAllo charge?
A one-time recruiting fee per hire, per your agreement. It is a fee for recruiting services, not a payment for patient referrals. Pricing is confirmed with each practice before any agreement.
Can I trust the availability shown?
Each BT keeps their own availability current and it shows when it was last updated. Stale availability is the BT's to fix, and you confirm schedules during the interview.
Everyone
Is MeetAllo a healthcare provider?
No. MeetAllo does not diagnose, evaluate, treat or supervise care. It does not give clinical, medical or legal advice.
What do you do with my data?
The website asks for contact details only when you choose to save results or join a waitlist, never clinical details about a child. We load no advertising or third-party tracking scripts. Read the draft privacy policy.
Is a match a treatment recommendation?
No. A match is an introduction based on stated preferences like language, schedule and interests. Clinical decisions belong to you and your clinicians.
What has launched yet?
MeetAllo is in early access. The marketplace flows are being piloted, the state guides are live, and everything shown as unverified says so.
